At Romold, our commitment to staff and their personal development is of paramount importance to us. It is with great pleasure that we announce a raft of successful course completions in the Management and HR Sectors.

Iain Dickson, Romold’s CRM and Export Sales Manager, has passed the prestigious SVQ in Management level 4 (SCQF level 9). Speaking of this outstanding achievement, he said, “Romold have given me a great opportunity by supporting my professional development over the years. This latest qualification will allow me to take the next steps in a Management career; and I am now equipped with the tools to better deal with day-to-day issues that arise within an organisation like this.”

Michael Adams, Production Supervisor, and William Harrison, Nightshift Supervisor, have completed their SVQ in Management level 3 (SCQF level 7) in association with Forth Valley College. To pass, they showed excellence in team leadership and business process, coupled with implementing health and safety requirements of the highest standards within their respective teams.

In addition to Romold’s increasing Management credentials, we are investing heavily in our HR operations, with Laura Adams completing a one year Chartered Institute of Personal Development (CIPD) level 3 certificate in HR Practise. Not only does this make Laura an Associate Member of the CIPD, she has subsequently been promoted to HR Co-ordinator.

Jim McLeary, Group Operations Director, praised the developments saying “It is with great pride that we announce several of our long-standing members of staff have undertaken training to advance their careers. This is of mutual benefit to the individual and business and will help ensure the progression of the business’ strategic objectives.”
