This week, we introduce our Production Supervisor, Michael Adams who, having worked for Empteezy and Romold for over 22 years, tells us what has changed in his time with the companies.
I first started my employment with Empteezy Group in January 1996 and have worked across multiple departments including spray painting, stores and despatch & welding before transferring to Romold to oversee the efficient running of daily production and despatch. My 22 years has allowed me to evolve a huge range of skills and the commitment from the organisation to staffs’ personal development now sees me due to complete my SVQ Level 3 in Management this year.
We have changed a lot in the time I have been here. Working your way up through the company means you are well placed to run and train a team – you know the company and your products inside out.
It is the friendly, relaxed working environment that first attracted me to work for Empteezy Group. The teams work incredibly hard to offer a first class service, but the can-do attitude of staff and the dedication to their roles is something that makes Empteezy and Romold go above and beyond for customers. This is seen across all departments; teamwork is paramount, and I can honestly say my colleagues are friends which makes my working days even more enjoyable.
