Following the feedback we received from our customers, we are pleased to announce we have made some changes to the BB1HCS, BP4HCS, and BB2HCS – Hard Covered Spill Pallets.
- The handle has been changed to a flush fitting version to reduce transport damage.
BB2HSC Change:
- The door set up was changed from hinged to sliding due to the fact that the hinged doors were too heavy and needed a large swing clearance to open them, the sliding doors need no swing clearance and are more secure.

Romold’s Hard Covered Spill Pallets is perfect for industries such as food production and chemical, looking to store oil and chemicals outside; it is resilient to extreme weather and is able to endure more accidental damage. The lifespan is longer and more robust than plastic as the steel cover is produced from 0.6mm galvanised with a powder-coated finish, inside and out. The sump is manufactured from polyethylene which features UV8 stabilisation as standard, as with all our polyethylene products.
The doors are fitted with a locking system for added security. For some insurance companies, this is a requirement to ensure compliance and in some instances, it can reduce the insurance premium.
